A Papapana Puzzle

This puzzle was created at the ULAB Puzzle-Building Workshop in August 2022 with Dr Pavel Iosad and Prof Graeme Trousdale from the University of Edinburgh, where they spoke about the basics of making linguistics puzzles, and participants had a chance to build their own puzzles.
This puzzle is a joint creation by Liam McKnight, Cliodhna Hughes, Kitty Liu, Matt Hale, and Veatriki Michailidi, under the guidance of Dr Pavel Iosad. The Workshop was organised by Cliodhna Hughes and Kazune Sato, U-Lingua’s Puzzle Editors.
Papapana is an Austronesian language spoken in Papua New Guinea, with 120 speakers in 2014. Below are some words in Papapana, along with their English translations. < ' > indicates stress in the Papapana word, their placement is important.
